One of the most successful drummers on the global session scene, Geoff Dugmore is who you hear on such major hits as Rod Stewart's "Downtown Train" and "I Can't Deny It"', Tina Turner's "I Don't Want to Lose You" and "Foreign Affair" album plus albums by multi-platinum artists Dido, Natalie Imbruglia, Blondie's Debbie Harry, Robbie Williams, and Gabrielle, amongst others. There are also hits and notables, past and present from the likes of Appleton, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, Steve Winwood, Joan Armatrading, Danny Wilson, Climie Fisher, Killing Joke, the Gypsy Kings, Stabbing Westward, and literally hundreds of others. And that list grows by the day!

 

 

Geoff grew up playing everything from the Average White Band, Yes and Led Zeppelin, to soul classics in pubs and clubs across Scotland. With his band The Europeans he made the big move to London, where he now writes, produces, develops artists, and plays sessions of every imaginable calling. In addition to drums and percussion there's guitar, bass, keys, hammer dulcimer, bazooki and vocals, plus he is often musical director. He doesn't limit himself to just the studios... Recent gigging and tours include Mike Scott & The Waterboys, One Giant Leap and Yazawa.
